having fun with my Mr. Tele

|
My first few shot from my new nikon 70-300mm G lens, hehehe.. capture this shot just behind my house's backyard. Quite amaze of the zooming capability of this lens, worth for its price and capability. It's not a macro type lens or VR type. So the min focus distance approx 1.5m and gonna keep a steady hand-held if shot with shutter speed below 1/200s 1/300s.

As the rule of thumb, to reduce camera shake, try to compensate the shutter speed as 1/(focal length) 1/(focal length x crop factor) i.e if zoomed at 300mm, the shutter should be more than 1/300s 1/450s for hand-held shot. Hehe. [Thanks Kurt for the correction..hehe =)..for d50 user..1.5x crop factor, hehe]

The color captured by this lens quite vibrant too..afterall.. I enjoys my new Mr. Tele lens.. Thanks

Nice toy :). Not own a tele yet even after 2 years LOL. The minimum shutter speed should be 1/focal length for FF, and 1/(focal length x crop factor) for non FF :)
